The architecture supports the natural character of the whole location and the urban concept. The masses of the lower operational parts – entrance, changing rooms, staff facilities and wellness area are covered by grass mounds and their roof is designed as a green roof.
The material solution corresponds to the assigned libretto – “a tribute to material and elements” inspired by African nature. These inspiration points are followed by the entrance hall of the aquacentre, where there is also a space for the installation of collection objects from the collections of Jiří Blata – an Opava native, traveller and patriot.
